Palombaro is a mountainside village of less than 1000 people in the Chieti Region of Abruzzo. The village stretches along a ridge in the Maiella Mountains in the Italian National Forest. The mountains tower over one side of the village while the other side hangs over the valley which gives visitors a clear view of the Adriatic Sea 45 minutes away. Around town, you will find a cafe, a smaller food market, a butcher, and a restaurant.
